Help Us Make North Texas No-Kill

Dallas Pets Alive! is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue that promotes and provides the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals in North Texas. We focus on rescuing healthy and treatable pets at the greatest risk of being euthanized, reducing owner surrender through our Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (PASS) program and opening shelter kennel space by transporting our animals to partners in cities in need of adoptable animals.

By uniting with Dogs Matter, Dallas Pets Alive aims to create a broader network of pet caregivers available to families experiencing hardship. This collaboration enhances DPA's ability to provide vital resources to those in need. Together, DPA and Dogs Matter will ensure that pets in the community have access to temporary foster homes and the opportunity to be reunited with their families when the time is right.

“Animal welfare is not just about the pets, but about the humans that love and care for them. DPA is proud to have the opportunity to help expand the impact Dogs Matter can have on those seeking inpatient treatment."

~ Leslie Sans, Executive Director of DPA

Mazie’s is always focused on the future of animal rescue.

Mazie’s Mission was founded to bring a self-sustaining, focused approach to animal welfare with the purpose of eliminating unnecessary euthanasia. This will be accomplished by providing professional medical care, expert forensic evidence, and adoption assistance to shelters, rescue groups, first responders, and other non-profit animal welfare groups.
